This could be down to a number
of reasons, although it's probably just an error
on our part in uploading - please tell us,
and we'll get it sorted - if you see the tune
name on this site, we have it - so if the worst
comes to the worst we can always send it to
you...
I can't find the tune I'm looking for! Firstly, try the sites listed in the 'Links' section - many have a wider range of tunes including more recent programs. If you're not successful, come back to us and click on the 'Request a Theme' button. We can't guarantee anything, but we've got a pretty good success rate!
I've downloaded the tune but it won't play! WAV files - This site uses some compressed *.wav files....If your computer definitely cannot play the files ( you get an error message for example ), then you need a different 'codec' - this is simple to do: Windows 98 -
The required component is installed within
Windows 98, so you should have no problem playing
these files - if you are then it's not
down to the codec and may be something more
serious MP3 files - you need an MP3 player - Winamp is a reliable one, although the Windows media player should also be able to play them. RealAudio files - You need the Realplayer though once again Windows Media Player should handle RealAudio files ( though not the RealVideo files ).
I want to set up my own site with Theme tunes - can I take them from here? Yes! I don't own the copyright for these tracks - beware of general copyright laws. I just found the files from the net, or recorded them - so you are free to use them - the most that I'd ask is that you include me in any Links section on your website. However, you are not free to link to such files on my website - if you want a tune, download it and then upload it onto your webspace. And I'm afraid you can't pinch artwork etc from this site. |
